Rosalind Franklin

She was born in Notting Hill in 25 july 1920.
She was a chemical and crystallographer.
She made a lot of advances related to the structure of the DNA. She used X-rays to discover that the molecule of DNA has a doble helix structure. She also studied the structure of the RNA, some viruses and the grafite.

She studied in the Newnham College and later in the Cambridge's University.

In 1962 three scientist that were working with Franklin won the Nobel of Chemistry but they set that she should won it to.


At the age of 37 she died because of an ovarian cancer, leavung behind her a lot of studies and some new discoveries about th DNA.
